Activities
Day 1 – Arrive Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Welcome dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 – Hanoi – Hoalu – Hanoi
Depart from your hotel in Hanoi. After driving to the South to Ninh Binh city where you will the former capital - Hoa Lu and the remains of Dinh and Le Kings’ temples. To discover the hidden charms of the historical and cultural people and landscape. Continue to Tam Coc for lunch. After that, we get on small rowing boats to travel along the canals with local villages, passing the green fields and enjoying the so called “Halong bay on land”, Go through the limestone caves and then row back to boat quay. Back to Ha Noi in late afternoon.

Day 3 – Hanoi – Lao cai
A full day city tour of Vietnam’s capital (not in monday and friday). The city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Quanh Thanh Temple and the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the edge of West Lake. After lunch in town continue to the Museum of Ethnology and end the afternoon with a visit to the Lake of the Restored Sword and a cyclo tour of the Old Quarter. In the evening take the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.

Day 4 – Lao Cai – Sapa
Arrive at Laocai Railway station early in the morning. Driving from Lao Cai to a bustling market where Red Dao, Black H’mong and other ethnic hill tribes converge from the surrounding contryside to sell their embroidery, silverware and handicrafts and to buy provisions. In the late afternoon, go to Sapa town, check in at the hotel. Overnight in hotel in Sapa. Note: Visit Coc Ly market on Thursday Visit Can Cau market on Saturday Visit Bac Ha market on Sunday

Day 5 – Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi
In the morning enjoy a trek to the Red Dao village of Tha Phin, and in the afternoon go to Giay minority of Ta Van then back to Lao Cai to catch the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.

Day 6 – Hanoi - Halong Bay
We will pick up at the station. Come to Halong Bay and enjoy boat trip to visit Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. This picturesque “Dragon descending to the sea” Bay has 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Visit of a grotto then seafood lunch on board. Overnight on board.

Day 7 – Halong Bay - Hanoi – Hue
Relax and enjoy the sound of the nature on the bay. Brunch on boat and transfer back to Hanoi and the Airport to catch your flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8 – Hue
Visit the former imperial capital of Vietnam. A boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. In the afternoon visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Overnight in Hue.

Day 9 – Hue – Da Nang – HoiAn
Leave Hue for Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years The scenic route passes through the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. In the afternoon take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful market. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10 – Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An
A half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Visit the museum and the holy site then head back to Hoi An. Afternoon is free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11 – Hoi An – Danang – Hochiminh city (Saigon)
Transfer to Danang Airport after breakfast for the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals. A full day city tour takes in the city’s bustling Chinatown and begins with a visit to the Thien Hau Temple, from where you will take a cyclo ride; the most appropriate and unusual way to explore Cholon, literally meaning ‘big market’. The ride will take you to the lively Binh Tay Market. After lunch visit the War Museum and the former Presidential Palace, from there on you will go on foot (the car will be available at all times) to visit the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall.

Day 12 – Hochiminh city – CaiBe – PhuAn – DongHoaHiep – An Binh (Mekong delta)
Depart for Cai Be, deep in the Mekong Delta, and embark on a cruise on boat. The tour begins with a visit of the colourful Cai Be floating market. We will then proceed to PhuAn hamlet, an untouched beautiful area reflecting some of the best sights the Mekong Delta can offer. On the way, stop will be made at some local home factories. After lunch, your private sampan will cruise deeper to DonghoaHiep and An Binh island. Dinner and overnight in a traditional charming house built on pillars by the river.

Day 13 – AnBinh – VinhLong - Sadec – Hochiminh
Crossing the Co Chien river. A stop will be made at Dinh Tan Hoa. We will process the cruise up-stream on the Tien Giang river, cruise to Sadec. Leave Sadec for Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14: Hochiminh – Cu Chi. Hochiminh
Leave hotel at 07;00 We travel 70 km to Cu Chi once famous for the legendary tunnel system which at the height stretched over 250 km. In Cu Chi, you can check out these tunnels of 3 levels by crawling through the dark and narrow way; you’ll also learn more about the life of the local people during the war. We drive back to Ho Chi Minh. Afternoon free at leisure for shopping, Dinner in local restaurant. Night in Hochiminh city

Day 15 – Depart Hochiminh city
After breakfast, free time for the personal discovery. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for onward flight.
