Day 1: HUE

Arrival at Hue Airport where your guide and private car will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Start your visit of Hue at The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument depart for lunch to try some renowned Hue cuisine. Following depart to the Mausoleum of Tu Duc, built decades before its occupant's death the tomb was used as a palace retreat before the emperors resting place. Finish up the day at Khai Dinh's Tomb which is traditional Vietnamese in design with a European touch making it unique from the other tombs in Hue. Overnight in your hotel in Hue.

Meal: Lunch

Day 2: HUE - HOIAN

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then take a boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda before continuing by vehicle to Minh Mang's Tomb. After your visit of Hue drive south to stunning Lang Co Beach where you will have lunch. Following it's over the breathtaking Hai Van Pass (if you wish to save time the tunnel can be taken instead) to Danang for a visit to the Cham Museum. In the afternoon discover Hoi An: visit the Japanese Bridge, the old merchant's houses, the temples and the pagodas. Overnight in your hotel in Hoi An.

Day 3: HOIAN

Following breakfast at your hotel, start of your half days cooking class . Departure time is at 0800 , a welcome drink will be served before visiting Hoi An's colourful market to experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of the market. Following board 'The Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the HoiAn River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. The cooking class is an interesting and fun way to learn about the local cuisine. The class runs for about 2-hours, and includes demonstrations from the school's chefs, a chance to cook some dishes then enjoy lunch. Following your meal head back to Hoi An Town (arrive around 1300). The rest of your day is at leisure before your transfer back to Danang for your onward departure.
