Day 1: Hanoi

Vietnam’s capital city of wide tree lined boulevards with its tranquil lakes and colonial villas has a more sedate pace than frantic pace of Saigon. The capital has many cultural and historic which include the grand and solemn mausoleum of Hochiminh, the beautiful temple of literature compound and One pillar pagoda founded in 1049. This is a city that offers something for everyone. On arrival at Noi Bai airport, you will be welcomed by your local guide then transfer to the legendary Sofitel Metropole hotel. Standing proud as one of the most storied and opulent of Vietnamese hotels, the Metropole has played host to many celebrities and dignitaries, including Charlie Chaplin.

Afternoon, discovery starts with a trip throught Hanoi’s Old quarter via Vietnam signature mode of transport: the Cyclo. The tour takes your though the street whilst also visiting some of the historic sites likes the Temple of Literature, the 1st university in Vietnam, all the time you will be experiencing the sights and smells of the city.

Day 2: Hanoi

Morning to relax and enjoy the many charms that this city has to offer from the many boutique shops or simply taking a coffee at one of the charming street side coffee shop and watching the world go by. There is also many small art galleries that line many of the boulevards of the city. Or for those who would refer visiting some of the many museums that the city has to offer then there is Ethnology museum.

Any visit would not complete without a spa treatment that is part of lives of nearly all Vietnamese in one of the cities chic Spa that overlooks the Hoan Kiem lake.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Halong Bay is one of the wonder of the world with over 1,500 km2 and 3,000 islets. Many tales have been woven about creation of Halong Bay. Transfer to the World Heritage of Halong Bay by car. Board a luxury junk and touching a luxury cruise experience, with its design based on the Ancient Chinese Sail-Boat style, perfectly built by wood, stone and bronze in harmony between tradition and luxury. The junk is composed of a fully-equipped dining room, a deluxe cabin with en-suite bathroom, sunbathing and relaxing area, a professional kitchen, for an intimate cruise through the Emerald green waters of one of the wonder of the world. Lunch on board the junk. Cruise through Halong Bay. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4: Halong – Hanoi

Breakfast on board your junk.

Check out then transfer back to Hanoi for your onward flight.
